I wasn't exactly thinking straight. All I was thinking about was that it was better me than her.

I can get that. It's hard to think when it comes to people you love. Especially when your first instinct is to jump in front of a bullet for them.

Naw, you're more like the guy who's tall, dark and brooding. Who I did not date, before you get that image, he's old enough to be my dad.

He doesn't know how to talk to people, so mostly he just doesn't. He'll pull the most ridiculous crap to make things happen when he could have just used his words.

He has an on-again-off-again girlfriend, sort of, and she's a total babe. Pretty nice, too, as long as you don't get on her bad side. She even has a sense of humor. I have no idea what she sees in him, but I'm pretty sure I don't want to know.
