TRUTH OR DARE

1) Post your characters, one per comment.
2) Comment around ICly asking other characters "truth or dare?"
3) Truth is self-explanatory; dares should involve tagging out to another character's top level somehow ("Insult someone you find terrifying", "Tell someone you think is hot one thing you find sexy about them", "Strike up a conversation using the most awkward non-sequitur you can come up with", etc.)

Simple! You have to dance with me.

You know I’d just do that if you asked me, right?

Sí. It's more fun this way.

Okay. If I hit the right sap I might not even have to work for it. Be right back.

[Chloe bounds back, grinning]

I read them, but he didn't have anything in there. Does that count?

Mmmm. Now that depends.

[ He reaches out, to gently put a couple fingers under her chin and tilt her head upwards slightly to look at him. Then he winks. ]

How much do you want to dance with me?

[ If it were someone younger and more naive, he wouldn't go this hard, but he trusts Chloe to take this in the spirit it's intended, which is: all in good fun. ]

[Chloe snorts, which kind of ruins the image.]

It's a penalty, I'm not supposed to want to.

[Unless…]

Actually, yeah. Help me out with another dare.

[ It for does ruin it, but Lalo's good-natured enough to laugh it off. He withdraws his hand and shrugs. ]

Then we'll say it counts!

[ He does look intrigued when she seems to change her mind, though. ]

Eh?

[ He extends both arms, like he's about to guide her in a waltz. ] Like this? [ He's not sure what kind of dancing she had in mind, but if this isn't her speed, he's open to redirection! ]

[Chloe sketches a ridiculous little bow, then takes his hand.]

A kid dared me to make Taissa jealous, so you can be rude about it.

[ Exaggeratedly, he guides her in a twirl. And then dies laughing. ]

You are kidding me!

[ This is apparently the funniest thing he's ever heard. Well, shit, if she's giving him permission! He's clearly amused, buuuuut... there is a hint of fear in his voice, too. ]

Now how jealous are we talkin' here? Between you and me, I'm not trying to get myself killed. Again. So soon. [ He gives just a brief glance in Tai's direction. ]

[Chloe’s laughing too]

Welllll, she did promise me bonus points if she chases you off herself.

[ Lalo's eyes practically bug out of his skull in a panic. ]

What???!

Come on, it'll probably be easy! She's already steaming because I answered her question.

[ Lalo looks scandalized. Yeah, he's sure it would be easy and that's the problem!

But he obligingly dips her. Against his better judgment: ]

What question?

You were there. [He had grabbed her ass right after.] You sure you want to go there while you're this close to me?

[ ...Good point. Cartoonishly, he waggles his eyebrows, then: ]

Non.

[ He takes a big step. Lalo is a good dancer, but waltzing isn't exactly his strong suit. He's competent enough for this, though. ]

So! Come here often?

[Chloe laughs, leaning in in a way that slides his hand on her back a little lower.]

Well, we can't leave, so…

[ Lalo laughs out loud at that. It's a genuine, unforced laugh, but he does look in Tai's direction to see if she noticed.

Then he swallows only a little conspicuously, but he lets his hand slide down a little lower. He moves in slightly closer. ]

You think she's going to kill me fast or do you think she'll want it to be slow so she can watch me suffer?

I’m not sure. [She smiles a little dreamily, thinking about it] She's so like, controlled, you know? Who knows what could happen when she snaps.

[ .............................. jfc he's going to die. Then when he comes back, Tai is going to kill him again. And again. And again.

At least the idea of his brutal murder makes Chloe horny, though!

He smiles tightly and spins Chloe around, for once at an utter loss for words. ]

[She's been staring since you touched Chloe's chin. But please, keep on with all the touching and dancing and touching. This is Fine.]

[At the very end of her spin, Chloe notices Taissa staring and winks at her]

Dude, relax. She's a politician, what's she going to do to you?

[ Lalo also notices the staring. GULP. He tries to ignore the feeling of her eyes on him, uneasy despite Chloe's words.

Instead of pissing himself, though, he leans in and whispers in Chloe's ear: ]

Hit my arm and laugh really loud like I just said something funny.

[ That always gets 'em. ]

[The laugh he gets at that is genuine, and she shoves him a little]

Come on, she must know you're funnier than her already.
