Funny you'd say to trust you. But on this kinda thing, I figure your opinion is good as any. Do you live in the US or Mexico? Maybe cops are all idiots there.

You know everything kinda...stopped. What we have now is more on equal footings. Someone in the Kingdom of Science used to be a cop, but we don’t have cops at all.

The village has a couple guards and we have a few of us who make decisions as best we can. A few people are fighters, warriors.

Just. No cops, you know?

"Reino de la Ciencia", eh? That sounds lovely. I'm impressed everyone in your village works so well together. It's amazing.

Me, where I'm from? In my world? If everything just stopped, I'm pretty sure we'd all kill each other trying to be king of a patch of dirt. [ He makes a face, but he's not actually upset about it. It's simply a fact of life to him, that's all. ]

My world didn't just stop, you know. I told you, right? Everyone was petrified for thousands of years. Not enough people woke up at once to have that kind of chaos. We're calculating how we revive everyone to avoid that kind of crap.

We've had some conflicts and whatever, but overall we've done a damn good job.

[ Lalo laughs. And ruffles Senku's pineapple hair, if Senku allows it. Or... he starts to, then he remembers Senku doesn't like physical contact and withdraws his hand prematurely. Sorry, Senku. He's not trying to be obnoxious, but it comes second nature to him to be a physical and touchy person. He doesn't even always realize he's doing it. ]

[ Lalo himself doesn't even know the half of it. Walter White could probably find a way to make a bunch of petrified people hate him, somehow, even if he were the only man conscious. ]

But if you say that's how things work for you guys, then I believe it! I'm very impressed. [ He means that! He can't really a picture a world with only a little bit of conflict. It only takes two people to have a fight. If he and Fring were the only two people who weren't stone in the world, they'd destroy each other before anyone else woke up. It would take two seconds. ]
