TRUTH OR DARE

2) Comment around ICly asking other characters "truth or dare?"
3) Truth is self-explanatory; dares should involve tagging out to another character's top level somehow ("Insult someone you find terrifying", "Tell someone you think is hot one thing you find sexy about them", "Strike up a conversation using the most awkward non-sequitur you can come up with", etc.)

Will you do a dance?

[ Not even a hello or anything, wow. Feel free to say no - someone put him up to this! ]

[ He may or may not be awared he was supposed to ask someone to dance with him, but hey. Never specified. Still counts! ]

Weird phrasing, dude. She didn't dare you to have me do a jig for you. Have you ever danced with anybody before in your life?

How do you know she didn't?

[ It's a perfectly normal dare, right? Which words were supposed to tell him there's some unspoken additional instruction there? ]

[ He thinks back. He's seen some couples dancing in fancy celebrations, he's been to a few parties as part of his job, but he'd never partaken in the action nor the pleasantries surrounding it. No, if he did ever dance with anybody, it had to be between a decade and two ago, a fleeting moment of levity between friends in a place that had none, and certainly no etiquette for it. ]

...Not really.

Then I'm leading. Put one hand on my waist and the other in my hand; come on.

[She motions him over expectantly.]

[ THIS IS NOT GOING AT ALL LIKE HE PLANNED. But while he may be screaming internally he maintains his perfectly stoic deadpan expression on the outside. ]

[ It probably looks a little deader than usual, even. ]

...I really expected you to refuse.

[ He had thought they were fairly similar! ]

[ Well. This is what he gets for giving his daughter a pushy teen free reign on his dare and also assuming things about somebody he hasn't actually spoken to. He sighs and steps forward awkwardly, cautiously placing his hands on Shaw as she directed, clearly having no idea what he's supposed to do otherwise. ]

[Shaw rolls her eyes, planting her free hand on his shoulder and starting to lazily sway him.]

It's the game. No point to it if I refuse.

[No fun if her player lets her refuse, she means.]

Besides, I have danced before. But I'm giving this ten seconds; you suck at it.

[ Well, this is weird and definitely more human contact than he's comfortable with, but he guesses it could be worse. So he just follows her lead. ]

There has to be a line somewhere.

[ But this is fairly harmless, he supposes. He can just hope that most people here wouldn't jump on a dare to kill somebody. ]

[ He actually looks a bit more at ease, almost amused, at her harsh assessment. Ten seconds sound absolutely better than any longer amount of time. ]

No argument here.

Eight, nine, ten.

[And with that, she stops swaying, lets go of him, and steps back.]

There. Now you have one more life experience under your belt.

[ Funnily enough, he does. It doesn't quite occur to him to thank her, but the sentiment is there. He lets go as soon as she does and nods curtly. ]

Right. Let me know if you get a dare you need help with.

[ He'll return the favor. For now, though, guess that's that, so he'll be departing. ]
