What do you want to achieve with the village?

[meadqueen]

When I found it, I was just looking for a safe place to rest - I was so afraid that first day - but after seeing the conflicts on this island I want this to be a place where anyone can be safe for as long as they want to be. What a waste for people to suffer and die out there because they are too afraid of the others to accept help.

My culture requires a particular hospitality in villages and I aim to offer that here.

Uh...yeah. Its a long gun, usually used for longer range fighting.

...yeah. That was my job most of the time. Find the enemy and shoot them before they got to close. Or before they'd noticed us at all.

That's a heavy responsibility for one so young.

We don't have much here that has range. I don't like it either. If you’d feel safer you can take one of the spears.

I don't really know how to use those. They weren't very common. I have a knife, though. That's better than nothing and I know how to use it.

If we find a crossbow would you like a chance at it?

I've never used a crossbow...but its like a cross between a gun and a bow. I'd probably not have any trouble with it.
