Something about the words on the shitty ancient radio screen is oddly comforting. Maybe it's just be a sense of relief in hearing from literally any of the other people he was supposed to be with. Or maybe saying shit like "reasonable hypothesis" in casual conversation just speaks to him personally. Who knows.

For what it's worth, the planets in our session didn't have any consorts either.
Or anything living, really.
In contrast, this mystery island is very much full of extremely alive shit.
It'd probably be more exciting if it didn't come at the apparent cost of all our friends and powers and sick gear.
I mean, I can do without the Heart-specific powers honestly, but being able to fly would be really fucking handy right now.
