They win. Yes, Jade is still stuck on this weird island with none of her friends, but she knows that at least in one timeline, even if it's not her timeline, they win. It's a massive relief.

It takes her a little bit to respond. She needs time to process some actually good news before she keeps chatting. She'd forgotten what relief felt like.

i was getting very sick of all of the consorts
they are not very good conversationalists but they sure can make a lot of noise
