That makes the most sense. Stick you with a bunch of people you might or might not come to rely on and then use them to hurt you or get something from you.

If you're wrong and this' some elaborate set up by the U.N. or the U.S. to get info from me, that'd be the best way to get me to agree too.

That's the thing. They'd use you even if we weren't friends. Saving strangers was kind of my job description for a while. Or-- it still is; I don't know.

I was a special agent at the NSA until they wanted to pin something on me I didn't do, now I'm a 'rogue element.' Meanwhile, UN's not been a fan of me and my team for 30 years cause we're too powerful.

Not a bit, but my experience with extra-government entities is they like their secrecy and a list of alternate names and fronts a mile long, so who knows. Ever heard of Black Ghost?
